Having known and first meeting Steven in my early playing career away as a player his culture for excellence and ability to give 100 percent individually tactically and mentally is something he has in abundance.

 

Competing against Steven as a coach made me raise my standards to try and hit his. Working and being with him in all my FA courses, I soon learned what a humble human being he is and his passion just to help struck me straight away.

 

I always say as a coach it’s the person first then player and this is right at the top of the list . As a person I don’t think I’ve met a better man with his values . His passion and people skills are the best I’ve seen as well as his footballing knowledge
